Superhero cookies!

My birthday boy (how is he FOUR already??!!) wanted a "superhero" theme for his party, so I made some cookies to take. Initially, I was going to make them as party favors for the kids, but I nixed that idea and set them out on a platter for the parents, thinking they might appreciate the effort a little more. :)

Here's the whole platter--I did some "J"s and "4"s too!

I was pretty proud of my little "Super Jake." :) I know he's far from perfect, but I thought he turned out kinda cute. Thanks to Bridget from 'Bake at 350' for the inspiration!!!

Cute little stickers I ordered off of Etsy to match the theme.

The real, non-cookie (but just as sweet) Super Jake! :)

What a lucky birthday boy! His mommy is the REAL hero, with those precious cookies. I know everyone loved them. I wish I could see you in action, cause when I see all these perfectly beautiful cookies, I just can't imagine how you get them so perfect.

Thanks Susie!! Although you probably don't want to see me in action because usually by the end I am cursing and swearing that I never want to see another cookie in my life! But then I somehow end up wanting to do more the next day! :) xoxo
